GIGAN Announces Touring Bassist

August 21, 2007

GIGAN guitarist Eric Hersemann (ex-HATE ETERNAL, DIABOLIC) has issued the following update:

"We are proud to announce that our old pal Rob Shaffer will be joining us on stage playing the bass guitar! You all might remember Rob as the fella that played guitar and wrote music for Metal Blade recording artists INTO THE MOAT. He also currently jams with a killer band called DARK CASTLE! We are excited to have Rob jamming with us as he represents that small percentage of musicians out there that have heart AND talent.... His contributions on the bass have ALREADY shown that he has a great idea of where GIGAN is coming from and he will make a fantastic addition to the band; THANX ROB, FOR ALL THE HARD WORK!! His first performance with GIGAN will be at the Miami, FL show (with SCUM OF THE EARTH) on August 28."

Upcoming GIGAN shows:

Aug. 28 - Churchills Pub - Miami, Florida
Sep. 15 - The French Quarter - Jacksonville, Florida
Sep. 16 - Churchill’s Pub - Miami, Florida

Three demo tracks from GIGAN"Footsteps of Gigan", "Severed Spider Legs" and "The Oracle of Orson" — are available for listening on the band's MySpace page.
